D&D One Shot

An outline for a one-shot adventure with the situation, what the characters are, the aim of the one-shot, events during it and an ending.

theme:

The PCs are elite sorcerers who must investigate the history of a ceremonial staff. A character is accompanied by an annoying sibling. It might involve gnomes.
There is a loyal poet who tries to help them.
The characters start in a fight. Partway through they encounter a guardian monster that hinders their progress. If things are going nowhere a villain turns up.
At the end there is the characters all posing together. Possible sequel... one or more characters start having dreams related to a monster from the adventure

The PCs are fun-loving acolytes who must discover the plans of a cursed gang of adventurers. A character has made an enemy of a local spellcaster. The mood might be... desperate
There is a heartbroken druid who comes with them.
The characters start in a chase scene. Early on they encounter someone who tries to arrest them. If things are going nowhere they uncover a secret stockpile.
Afterwards there is a reward of a castle.

The characters are fiendish clerics who must ransack a legendary dragon's lair. A character is haunted by a harmless ghost.
It is at a floating hospice which has stone statues in every corner.
There are a group of elves wedding. And a spirit wants to deliver a glowing Lantern of Night.
At some point an ally turns up with useful information.
As the adventure progresses there is a series of disappearances

The PCs are cursed dwarves who must survive a night in a reflective ruined keep. One or more characters has an inquisitive mount. The mood might be... creepy
There is a vengeful noble who betrays them partway through. they grew up with a character.
The characters start during a heist. At some point there is a local festival. If things slow down a magic item develops new powers.
Afterwards there is a religious ritual.

The PCs are fiendish kobolds who must destroy a cult of devils. It might involve water.
There is a loyal druid who has important information for them.
The characters start at a disrupted funeral. Partway through there is a feast. If things are going nowhere they receive a useful sending spell.
At the end there is a reward of a noble title. Possible sequel... same adventure but everything larger
