The Characters are troublesome lobbyists who must capture a ruthless mastermind. One of the group is a murderous lobbyist. It might involve a crime syndicate.
There is a vigorous gunner who works against them.
The characters start with an explosion. Early on they meet an old foe. If things are going nowhere a chase starts.
Afterwards there is a revolution. Possible sequel... an alien entity curious about the characters

The Characters are egotistical newlyweds who must foil the plans of a media-hungry robot. It might involve a conspiracy.
There is an energized replicant who turns out to be the villain.
The characters start fleeing something. Partway through there is a message requesting help. If things are going nowhere a rival turns up.
Afterwards there is a reward of a political alliance. Possible sequel... the characters defeat a military xenomorph

The Characters are psionic crewmembers who must defeat a repulsive abomination. One of the group is an enhanced gambler. It might involve an intelligent virus.
There is an excited alien who hates one of the characters. they are the rival of a character.
The characters start with an attempted theft. Partway through foes try to ambush them. If things get stuck they receive a useful message.
Afterwards there is one of the characters dead or unconscious. Possible sequel... a foe returns more dangerous than before

The Characters are bionic detectives who must befriend/tame a veteran collective. One of the group is a wanted navigator. It might involve an indestructable ninja.
There is a desperate courier who sets them the mission. they are part of same society as a character. And a pragmatic secretary who tries to help them.
The characters start in a fight. Partway through they meet a friend of a character. If things are going nowhere someone has a vision.
At the end there is a wedding.

The Characters are brawling tourists who must destroy a psychic super-weapon. One of the group is a teleporting consultant. It might involve psychic spirits.
There is a bragging simulation who tries to help them. they are the close relations of a character.
The characters start gambling for high stakes at a casino. Early on there is a chase scene. If things get stuck foes are waiting for them.
It finishes with a revolution.
