The Characters are rude investigator who must discover the plans of an extravagant superstar. One of the group is a joking umpire. It might involve an embittered android and a regenerating pilot.
There is a shapechanging cop who sets them the mission. they worked together with a character. And an unfunny space marine who has important information for them.
The characters start waking at a crashed spacecraft. Early on they encounter a passcode. If things are going nowhere a chase starts.
At the end there is the characters in their new base. Possible sequel... a foe returns more dangerous than before

The Characters are zapping soldiers who must subdue a repulsive automaton. It might involve time travel.
There is a ravishing professor who works against them. they grew up with a character.
The characters start at a party that is disturbed. Early on there is a ritual. If things get stuck a character learns something useful with lore skill check.
At the end there is a reward of mind-altering cakes.

The Characters are elite volunteers who must collect a bounty on a wrathful assassin. It might involve a mystery.
There is a witty elder evil who has important information for them. they are the sibling of a character.
The characters start communicating with an alien. At some point they encounter an alternate dimension. If things are going nowhere one of their allies tries to leave.
At the end there is a reward of the contents of a mysterious vault.

The Characters are zany researchers who must find the controls to a ruined homeworld. One of the group is an elated sports star. It might involve a superstar.
There is a harried vendor who tries to help them. they are the distant relation of a character.
The characters start with an attempted theft. At some point there is a significant change of gravity. If things are going nowhere a chase starts.
It finishes with a game in a casino.

The Characters are troubled lobbyists who must destroy a psychic weapons factory. It might involve time travel.
There is a dangerous player who tries to help them. they are part of same faction as a character.
The characters start gambling for high stakes at a casino. At some point there is a big fight scene. If things are going nowhere an ally turns up with useful information.
Afterwards there is the characters in their new base. Possible sequel... an NPC from the adventure hires the characters for something totally different
