Miner’s Pie: A very thick crust encloses pork sausages, beef and chicken with a goodly supply of cheese to bulk it out.

Cheese and Onion Pie: This pie has a filling of shredded cheese and large slices of onion.

Creamy Vegetable Crumble: This cheese-topped crumble is filled with turnips, carrots, parsnips, leeks, sweetcorn and goat’s cheese.

Baker’s Surprise: This pie has a thin pastry crust and some sort of fish. The surprise is a mystery meat and an additional “prize”, a kitchen utensil such as a knife, ladle or spoon

Sigmar’s Pie: The cause of some religious controversy, this pie contains beef, red tomatoes, red apples and carrots, topped with a cranberry sauce.

Onion and Caper Tart: A thick crust is topped with a mixture of onions, tomatoes and capers.

Treacle Tart: Guaranteed to pacify almost any angry halfling, this tart has a latticed top over a filling of treacle mixed with breadcrumbs and lemon.

Fish and Port Pie: Some sort of fish has been soaked in a sauce mostly containing port, and seasoned with a plentiful amount of herbs.

Pork and Leeks Pie: Large hunks of pork mixed with leeks are topped by a layer of chopped carrots inside a double crust pastry shell.

Rum Pie: This shallow pie holds some sort of egg and cream based sauce, which is overpowered by the rum which gives its name.
